AIC reflection
This week we went to the AIC and watch about modern art. First of all, I studied a painting "A Sunday on La Crande" by George Seurat 1884-1986. This is about people in the lakeside. I looked carefully I can see red, orange and blue dots. They were added by George in the final change 1889. He used the highly systematic and scientific technique in this painting. Then, I went to see some Van Gogh's painting. "The Poet's Garden", "Fishing in Spring, the Pont de Clichy" and "The bed room". After that, I saw the "Sdy Above Clouds IV" by Georgia O' Keefe. He drew the higher clouds smaller and the cloud in the bottom is bigger to show to distant. Finally, I had a presentation with Hanna. We choose the "Mother and Child" by Pablo Picasso. This is a representational painting with a mother holding a baby. We think its subject matter is about mother's love. This is one of the painting that Picasso drew about mother and child. Since he married a Russian dancer and had a son with her.
